A Little About Your Professional CT Photographer
I am a storyteller first.
Life can go by really fast, and it’s important to capture every bit of it that you can. I started The Flash Lady Photography because I believe the moments that feel ordinary right now are the ones you’ll want to remember most. My goal has always been to build a full-service, boutique experience tailored to each client, one that feels personal enough that you come back year after year and trust me with your story as it grows.
I hold a Master Newborn Photographer credential from the NAPCP and have spent nearly two decades photographing families and professionals across Connecticut. I’ve learned a lot in that time, mostly that no two clients are alike, and that a great session requires actually knowing the people in front of your lens.
My work with you doesn’t end when your photoshoot is over. I’m passionate about creating images that can be displayed in your home, not buried on a hard drive. Albums, wall art, printed products, and digital files are all part of what I offer. I sometimes ask clients to picture what people grab first when disaster strikes. It’s never a hard drive. It’s the album on the shelf and the frames on the wall. That’s what I’m here to help you create.
Outside the studio, I’m a wife to my husband Frank, who many of my longtime clients know well as the creative genius behind our Christmas set builds and self-appointed lighting guy during family sessions. Our daughter has grown up alongside this business and now brings her own natural ease with little ones to our sessions. I love that this work has become something we share as a family.
When we’re not working, you’ll find us hiking, camping, and seeking out hidden gems, the kind of places owned by another small business owner or a family who’s been doing it for generations. We are unabashedly a foodie family. Point us toward something homemade and farm-fresh, especially ice cream, and we’re there.
One more thing about me that tends to surprise people: I am the only girl in the first surviving set of quadruplets born in the state of Connecticut. It was a news story at the time, and again when my daughter was born. I’m very happy with one!
