Building a Network of Connecticut Women in Business

We are a network of nearly 200 women in business coming together to share new ideas, strengths, and connections. I am always astounded by how much knowledge is in the room when you bring together a group of female business owners who are committed to building relationships and helping each other grow and thrive.

Giving back to the community has always been important to me, both personally and professionally. Over the years I have supported numerous sponsorships and community initiatives, including a supply drive I put together with my daughter during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to nearby hospitals and first responders.  WEB grew out of that commitment to showing up for others because I wanted to cultivate a platform for small business owners to collaborate. 

What started as a small gathering in the back of a local restaurant has grown into a consistent and reliable presence in the Connecticut networking community. We spent several years meeting at a co-working space in West Hartford, where the group found its footing and continued to grow. Now, with the opening of my newly renovated Newington studio, WEB has a permanent home and continues to expand, with most monthly meetings drawing 25 to 30 members, both new and returning.

We meet monthly and past meetings have focused on topics like non-social media marketing, newsletter marketing, and time management for small business owners.
