So we know school pictures aren’t every kid’s favorite thing to do. Or sometimes, taking pictures in general. But we do it to hang on to moments in time we don’t want to forget…pictures help us remember! Such is the case when I received a concerned message from Andrew’s mom later one morning a few weeks ago. She had brought him in to have his school pictures taken by a photographer at his daycare. Andrew was having a tough morning and wasn’t able to calm down enough to sit on his own, and after only a short time, they needed to move on to another child. Some kids just need more time to get used to their surroundings, so I was happy to help take the photos that they wanted, even just an hour later! Once he had a little bit of time to get used to my studio, and we gave him some paper to draw on, Andrew was fine! I love using this set up for back to school pictures, and now Andrew’s parents have images they can be proud to share with their family and friends. See for yourself!
