Winter Cake Smash | Newington, CT
Coming up with new themes for my cake smashes is something that I really enjoy! Which is why I was very excited when Bella’s mom booked her session and asked about creating a winter cake smash theme for her daughter, who was turning one at the end of January! I knew just what I wanted to make, and paired with a beautiful backdrop from Roses & Ruffles, and floordrop from Lemondrop we had a winner! As always, Betty’s Cake Creations made me a cake based on my design and ideas and it matched perfectly and gave just the right pop of pink for this pink cutie! Bella wore the most adorable pink fur outfit with hat to match for her pre-cake portraits, which I always do in case the child has a harder time with the cake and the session itself. This ensures we still have a beautiful gallery to enjoy! Bella had a little bit of a tough time enjoying her winter cake smash, but she looked adorable! We had some tears, but with her trusted green froggie by her side, some bubbles and a snack, Bella was ok with taking photos next to the cake. Her parents now have plenty of images to celebrate her first birthday and look back on for years to come!
