Construction Cake Smash | West Hartford, CT
Our next cake smash was in the works for a few months! Nathan’s mom contacted me over the summer to make sure she reserved a weekend date in November for his construction cake smash, since those time slots are always the first to book. Nathan’s father works in the construction industry, so we knew this would be the perfect theme! This has been a popular theme this year for the boys (but I can certainly do one for the girls now as well with my collection of pink tools!). Betty’s Cake Creations used my vision to put together a beautiful cake for Nathan to smash as always! He loved playing with all of the little tools and toy trucks I had put out and even loved smashing the cake with them when eating the cake itself wasn’t on his mind. He was very determined to get in a “work day” with those trucks like his Daddy! Who knows, Nathan might follow his his father’s footsteps someday! We are now looking to 2017 for our cake smash bookings and we do book quickly, especially in the spring and summer! I advise clients to contact me at least a month in advance to make sure we have availability for myself and my cake baker.
