Peachy Pink Floral Cake Smash | Meriden, CT

One of my little newborns born during the Covid-19 shutdown of small businesses last winter has turned 1 and she was finally back at my studio for her peachy pink floral cake smash! We were so disappointed last year when just before she was supposed to come see me, the shutdown forced us to postpone to a future milestone. But in the meantime, we were able to do some composite images for clients who were stuck. It was a great way to hold them over until they could see me in person. So here she was! Mom had selected one of my pink floral backgrounds that is always a hit! What’s better than tons of flowers and a pretty girl to pose with them? We started off with some family photos together not only to celebrate having them see us in the studio but also to allow the kids to get used to their surroundings. Especially since COVID, some toddlers have needed extra time to get use to being in a new place. And that’s ok! She warmed up just fine and love playing with the flowers and little confetti pieces on the floor! Cake time was definitely intriguing! We liked playing with it for sure…just not getting messy! Luckily our trusty spoon can always save the day for kiddos who like to be clean and she loved it! Bath time photos are saved for Mom & Dad are their request, so if you’re friends with them you’ll have to ask to see them! 😉 I loved being able to plan this special moment with this family and I can’t wait to see them again!
