Mickey Mouse Cake Smash | Newington, CT

Mickey Mouse as a theme for cake smash sessions always seems to be one of the most popular! When it was time to plan for a photography session for Shrey, his mother knew right away that Mickey was the right one! She not only wanted to make sure his first birthday session was special, but that a few family photos and photos with his older sister could happen too. I always try to do this right at the beginning of the session, which helps the baby feel a little more comfortable as they get used to my studio. Boy did Shrey like to move around! He was definitely a baby on a mission, but some play with blocks helped keep him still for a few seconds while I snapped away! Once we put the cake down, he wasn’t too sure about eating it himself. We had to get some help from dad (and some photo magic by your’s truly!) to get him to stay by the cake. Once he realized how tasty a cake from Betty’s Cake Creations was, he was happy to sit and eat! I love some of the smiles we took at the end and the photos were certainly a hit with his parents! I’m currently booking cake smash sessions into late December 2016 and early 2017. I usually need at least 3-4 weeks notice as well as getting into my baker’s calendar and to plan for your custom set.
