Chase’s Studio Newborn Photos | Torrington, CT

Saturday was a milestone day at The Flash Lady Photography studio where we photographed Chase’s studio newborn photos! Up until this point, I had been doing all of my Connecticut newborn photography on location as my studio was not heated. While this was a convenient option for my clients, I began to realize that I was unable to deliver the custom and full service experience I desire to give each session. I was only able to bring a small sampling of items, and the home environment was not always ideal for the family, especially those with older children already. So, as a final completion step to our studio, we were able to install heat recently which makes that toasty warm setting these little babies desire! Chase was my pilot session and boy I couldn’t have asked for a better client! His parents followed all of my suggestions of keeping him awake prior to arriving and feeding him at the studio while I finished setting up. He fell right to sleep, which allowed me to take a wide variety of poses and use props to give his parents the newborn photos they had hoped for! I used 2 beautiful layering blankets and a Jets hat and diaper cover set from Crocheted4Angels and what a great job she did for me! As I worked with baby Chase, his parents enjoyed a comfortable sitting area complete with coffee and refreshments to help them get through length of the 3 hour traditional newborn photography session.
