Holiday Mini Sessions at The Flash Lady Photography, CT
We had a wonderful holiday season at The Flash Lady Photography studio and last weekend finished up our Holiday Mini Sessions for the year! Part of what makes our studio unique is we love to build custom sets for our clients as often as we can, and especially at seasonal times such as Christmas. This year, we decided to create an “outdoor room” theme, complete with backdrops mimicking the outside of a house from Lemondrop, antique door and shutters we found at various local stores, fake snow, and a beautifully decorated tree to round out the design! Fun props for the kids to sit on make each family session even more unique and the most fun part was the “blowing snow” we did with some of the older kids. This really brought out a lot of real smilies and the siblings loved blowing it at each other too! We used this set both for our Photos with Santa event earlier in November, and also for 2 weekends of Christmas mini sessions at the beginning of December. One of the things my clients loved this year was having me make their Christmas cards and choosing a design right after their session! Using my professional labs, once design was approved we could ship them overnight right to their home so even clients who booked the second weekend in December had plenty of time to get cards out to their families. This was the best Christmas photography seasons for us yet and we are so excited to plan our next custom theme for 2016!
