Shoot and Share Contest Results 2017 | CT
Remember last week when I said to stay tuned as to why paint smashes were being featured? You’ll see why below! A few months ago we got caught up in the hype of Shoot and Share contest results 2017 – which is a “free community to inspire, educate and connect photographers”. Once per year, they hold an international, online photography contest that anyone can enter up to 50 images in one of twenty five different categories. Voting occurs in a series of 12 rounds over about 2 months so it’s a really long process! All photos entered are anonymous and an algorithm is put in place to ensure that every image is viewed the same exact number of times before moving on to another round. This year, over 330,000 images were entered from 136 countries!! That’s a lot of amazing images to look through! As my first year entering, I think I did pretty well in the contest results 2017! I had 2 images reach the top 10% of their categories, 2 reach the top 20% and 6 reach the top 30%!! I also had 6 other images almost reach the top 30% as well! It was so enjoyable to vote each week and see the amazing talent that is out there in the world! I love that my collection is a variety of photography genres, and I can’t wait to see what I will choose to enter for the 2018 contest! Which are your favorites?
