Cousin Photo Shoot | Southington, CT

*Highlight Post!* This cousin photo shoot is definitely one of my favorite shoots of this year and I can’t wait to share it with you all! One of the moms contacted me in the spring to book a special family photo session this summer, as 2 of the cousins had moved away recently. Let me tell you, these kids could be siblings! It is so obvious how much they love each other and play together. I’m sure they must miss being able to see each other as often, so this was a great chance to not only let them have fun, but participate in a great cousin photo shoot as well! Taking family photographs is so important for reliving the fun memories we have together as the years pass – especially with children as they grow up so quickly! We met at Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT for their photo shoot and right from the beginning the kids loved “going on an adventure” with me! We took them to some of the quieter shady areas of the park and each location was just another way for these kids to have fun together. There was a lot of hugging, holding hands, and laughing as my husband helped make them laugh behind me. I really work very hard to make all of my family sessions fun and something that the kids will remember and not just have something they are forced into doing. We posed, we ran around, and we tickled – some of my favorite images from their photo shoot! These kids now have a special place in my heart and now their families each have some really special photos to cherish as well. I can’t wait to see them again the next time they are back in Connecticut and watch them grow! Enjoy!
