Emmy Awards Cake Smash | Wethersfield, CT

One of the things I keep hearing from clients lately is they love the uniqueness of my cake smash themes! Some themes are classic and can be reused many times over, but I always love when we can put something special together that you just won’t find anywhere else! Such is the case with our Emmy Awards cake smash theme for Miss Emilee’s cake smash session we had last month! Her parents call her “Emmy” and wanted to see if I could build a cake smash set around this theme. Using red, black, and gold as the main colors, I came up with a simple but stunning backdrop for her photos and her personality just shone through! I couldn’t believe how perfect this theme was for her! I swear she was an actress on the red carpet herself! And adding the red car prop in at the last minute after seeing it posted on her grandmother’s Facebook page just completed the look! Of course, these sessions couldn’t be complete without a matching cake from Betty’s Cake Creations, and I love how great of a job she did on the awards statue on the top! Emmy dove right into the cake as soon as we put it down and even though the euphoria was short lived, it was plenty of time to get a full gallery of images for her parents! See for yourself!
