Engagement Photos at Devil’s Hopyard State Park | Haddam, CT

Last weekend we met with one of our 2016 wedding clients for their engagement photos at Devil’s Hopyard State Park in CT! One of the nice things about the way I book wedding photography packages is that YOU get to choose what you would like to include. Not everyone wants an engagement session, album, second shooter, etc. I can certainly make suggestions based on experience, and I always think an engagement session is a great idea. It gives the photographer and couple a chance to get to know each other better, both personally and photographically. What I mean is, every couple is different when it comes to how they want to act around each other. Some are naturally and publicly in love and don’t mind if others see that affection. Others are more reserved, yet still want some nice portraits for their home, save the date cards, wedding reception, etc. After emailing with Briana back and forth, I knew that meeting in a more natural setting would work well for their personalities. We were lucky enough to be treated to a gorgeous summer morning! The setting was a great pre-cursor to their laid back wedding next year!
