Christmas Photoshoot | Santa Experience | Newington, CT

The Santa Experience & a Family Christmas Photoshoot – a staple here at The Flash Lady Photography! It all started about 5 years ago when friends of mine were bringing their kids to wait in line for the Frozen exhibit with Santa at the WestFarms mall. After in some cases 5+ hours in line, most with a quick sit on the lap of the man in the red suit, with screaming children, they asked me – can you do something better? Christmas has always been a favorite holiday of mine (and my family) so it wasn’t going to be tough to convince me to do holiday photoshoots for families. But bringing Santa down from the North Pole? A tough feat! But we’ve been doing it for the last 5 years! And each year, we spend months over the summer constructing a handmade set to really WOW parents and children. No backdrops and fake stuff here – we aim for authenticity. We really want you to visit us and leave and say, Now THAT was a cool experience! This year’s theme is “The Nutcracker” – we have nearly 100 nutcrackers on display! Santa will be back this year on Saturday, November 9th 2019 from 9:00am-5:00pm. (Our model Santa will be here from 2020 moving forward after our current Santa retires!) We sell very quickly and as of today, there are only a few spots left! The following Saturday, November 16th from 9:00am-1:00pm we’ll be offering a special Pet Day just for your furbabies! (Families can come too!) We’re fundraising for the CT Humane Society as well! See more about that event here. And last but not least, on Saturday November 23rd, from 9:00am-1:00pm we’ll be offering Family Christmas photoshoot without Santa or Pets. So a little extra time to get that beautiful Christmas card and updates photos of your loved ones.
