Fluet Family Comstock Bridge Fall Photos | Glastonbury, CT
The Comstock Bridge is always a favorite year-round location for my family and child photo sessions! We met the Fluet Family here on a chilly fall afternoon in October for their family session. At first glance, it looks like a really old bridge. (And it is! Since 1791!) But to a child, it’s a passage to exploration! I always tell my toddlers we have a few “phases” to cross (IE – taking pictures with their parents) before we head down to the river to throw rocks. This is ALWAYS a huge hit, especially with young boys, and a great incentive for getting kids to stay a while and smile for me first. 🙂 Although a weekend storm had blown a lot of the beautiful leaves off the trees sooner than we had hoped, there were still plenty of colors and textures around to give them some great family photos. The boys were so cute and I loved the vibrant colors of their sweaters! We had a great time taking photos together before letting them have fun with some candid photos down by the river.
