Extended Family Photos | Newington, CT
Last month I was contacted by the Lentini Family who was interested in having some extended family photos taken while visiting from out of the area. The matriarch, Camilla, lives at Middlewoods of Newington. What a lovely location this is! Seniors have access to their own independent, assisted living apartments with a beautiful commons area complete with pool table, a kitchen area, couches and tables/chairs for activities, and a formal dining room. I know that a lot of local businesses and even the Chamber of Commerce holds meetings here and for good reason! When planning this gathering of extended family we wanted to make sure to capture both the large group photo as well as lifestyle photos of the family interacting as well. This is something I strongly encourage for family sessions as it really gives a good combination of posed and unposed photos with more natural emotion. The grandchildren and great grandchildren had a fun time looking through some photos albums together before they retired to the kitchen for lunch. I had a lovely time meeting this group for their extended family photos and I look forward to the next family gathering!
