Grams Extended Family Photos | Meriden, CT

I always love when current clients return for other types of milestones that go beyond their own immediate family! Such was the case for her Grams extended family photos that she was hoping to surprise her with. We managed to get 13 family members together at a park I knew could handle the group (still with a lovely background and lighting not too harsh for the time of year) and what a beautiful morning it was! Some were a little chilly – such is the time of year in early October – we never know what we’re going to get! But the kiddos and adults were troopers and with some silly puppets and characters, everyone had a great time and had some laughs! Now we have to remember that with 4 kids under 5 who are very active, we have to stay on our toes and keep things interesting to get the best pictures. We had so many sweet moments with the kids especially for their special portraits just with their great-grandparents. I love how they coordinated with a combination of soft pinks and blues to make sure that not everyone was wearing the same thing. This is always so important for the best final results. Grandma’s canvas looked so amazing and I can’t wait to see it hung in her home. Enjoy some of their favorites below, and get those photos done with your grandparents!
