Oh this family! I’ve just loved getting to know them and watching them grow up since their Dad found me when they were still babies as a Mother’s Day surprise to their Mom! And since then, we’ve loved seeing each other for birthdays, smashes (cake & paint!), family photos, and visits with Santa! It truly warms my heart when the kids greet my husband and I and know our names, give hugs, and hold hands. The best feeling ever that they are comfortable, especially during these COVID times. The pandemic has really been difficult on children and they have had a lot less experience in large group settings and with strangers around. It’s so important to make them comfortable at any age, and they will reward you with smiles and play! We loved exploring this Simsbury park closer to where they live and it was a beautiful fall evening for us. They were my last outdoor session of the season, so we went out with a bang! The kids loved running around, throwing leaves, checking out the ponds, playing with their parents, and showing me all of the different hidden places that they found. We had such a wonderful season and this was a great way to end it.
