Newborn Photos with Older Brother | South Windsor, CT

It seems like just yesterday that this family was in my Newington, CT photography studio for their older son’s newborn photos. Now, five years later, a baby brother has arrived! So they were back hoping for newborn photos with older brother and they always love to really focus on their family connection together. Little brother was so cute! Just like his brother, he was a very good sleeper for me and slept the morning away as I safely and comfortably posed him on the table as well as in a variety of props. Mom asked for a white and blue color scheme to keep things simple and classic to go with the decor in their home. I am always happy to discuss how we can use colors to not only match your decor but also what will look best with the skin tone of the child. And with this GORGEOUS skin color, we want lighter colors to bring out how beautiful it is! I was so excited to use some of my newest props in the session as well and he did such a great job sleeping so we could pose him. Big brother was so excited to get in on some of the photos and being a little bit older at age 5, he was able to stay for the session and patiently wait until it was time to include him. This allows for more sibling photos also, so they had so many great options to choose from! At the end of the session we brought the entire family together for some different photos. They really do love each other and it’s great to capture that love for each parent and the baby, with big brother, and all of them together.
