Twin Balloon Cake Smash | Newington, CT
This local family has been such a blast to get to know over the years, but in many different ways! It started out probably 4 years ago when one of their big brothers was turning 1 and I did his first birthday cake smash. Then the following year, we had the rest of the older sibling and parents join for a family photoshoot in the fall (some of my favorite family pictures ever!). COVID put a little damper on things in between while these 2 cuties were born next, and before we knew it, they were turning 1 and hoping for a twin balloon cake smash of their own! I couldn’t wait to plan and Mom really liked my regular blue hot air balloon theme (I guess we did a lot of balloon requests this year!). We started out with some pictures of the twins together and boy are they just the cutest?! Both were very social and couldn’t wait to see what we would let them touch and play with. Blocks and balloons kept them busy (sometimes too busy!) and allowed for some adorable photos together to warm up. Then we went over to the set, but it was clear these guys needed a little bit more to keep them in one place together. Luckily, a yummy cake from Sweets by Jenna was there to save the day! They immediately thought it was the best day of their lives, and their smiles proved it! I had some many sweet pictures of them smiling together it was hard to choose favorites! They ate and played and explored (and got pretty messy) before a trusty bath got them both cleaned up and ready for Mom to take them home!
