Gorgeous Sunset Family Fall Photos | Southington, CT

I cannot explain how excited I am to be sharing this family session from October! These are some of our closet friends and when they decided to book a family photo session I knew we had to do something special! We were treated to a peak foliage weekday evening for what turned out to be absolutely gorgeous sunset family fall photos for this family! I particularly love the first sequence with the old barn door and how the ivy growing along it created this amazing frame for the sisters to stand in! With such a wide open space to work with, it was typical for the girls to enjoy running around after each other but they were great when it came to coming together for photos with their parents. The interaction separately with their mom and dad are some of my favorite family fall photos ever! Although we haven’t had a lot of rainy days this fall, sunsets weren’t always cooperative for every session and a lot of them were hit or miss at the end. This evening, however, we had an absolutely gorgeous sunset and the color lingered even when we took a few last photos with just mom and dad. The purple coloring in the sky was unique to that evening! We wanted to wait to share these images until Christmas cards went out, and now you all can enjoy them as well! I hope you love them as much as I do and we still have many other sessions to share from this fall!
