Heirloom Newborn Photos | West Hartford, CT

This cutie’s parents contacted me after their baby arrived hoping I had a spot in my schedule to fit them in for heirloom newborn photos – and I did! She arrived at my Newington, CT photography studio and yes another peanut at just over 6lb. This photoshoot was all about baby girl, so we had plenty of time to try lots of adorable set ups and a few new props and backgrounds! They requested pinks, greens, and navy blue – so I had a challenge ahead! Luckily I had just the perfect new floral blanket with a navy base to try. Unbeknownst to me, Mom brought the sweetest knitted outfit Grandma had made and hoped we could use. I wish I could hire her for a duplicate – it was so sweet and fit her just perfectly and went with the floral background so well! We also utilized sage green and some soft pinks to really give her parents a lot of variety. And this little one slept and slept as long as we moved her slowly and snuggled in between (which is never a problem in my studio!). There were so many adorable photos and her parents and grandparents have quite the gallery to enjoy together. I hope to see her for another milestone or family session in the future – I love watching my babies grow!
