Mr Onederful Cake Smash | Plainville, CT
Jeremiah’s Mr Onederful Cake Smash was so much fun! When his mom contacted me early in the spring to book something custom for his first birthday, she wanted to do a theme that no one else had done before. When she mentioned that she had always envisioned him in a cute tuxedo outfit, I knew that a Mr Onederful Cake Smash would be the perfect theme to use! Utilizing different background colors, textures, balloons, paper flowers, some props, and some adorable confetti that I found online, we had a great set up! Our cake from Betty’s Cake Creations matched perfectly and I love how she made a very detailed little tuxedo front and bowtie to match the set I had created! Jeremiah arrived at my Newington, CT photography studio ready to explore! After getting dressed in his first outfit, we played peek-a-boo and balloon toss until he was smiling from ear to ear! I love this first part of cake smash sessions because kids are able to warm up to me and their surroundings. Next it was a quick outfit change and time for cake! He looked so surprised that we were letting him eat such a sweet and messy food! But no one can resist how delicious Betty’s cakes are! He loved playing with the fondant number 1 that was on top of the cake. After cake time was clean up time with a nice bath! This “splash” part of the session is usually a favorite for kids as they can get cleaned off and play with some rubber duckies while I take a few more photos before the end of the session. He had so much fun and there were so many adorable expressions it was a hard choice for Mom to make her choices! If you are thinking about booking a cake smash photoshoot for your little one, be sure to contact me at least 3-4 weeks ahead of time, especially during peak seasons, to make sure we can fit you in both my calendar and my baker’s calendar. I look forward to planning with you!
