Outdoor Maternity Photography | Wethersfield, CT

Planning a couple’s journey towards starting a family is such a special one! Kristen contacted me earlier in the year to start planning for their maternity and eventually their newborn photography sessions, as she was due this coming summer. Planning early is always much more relaxing knowing that once the baby is here everything is taken care of! We planned for an outdoor maternity photography session nearby at the Wethersfield Cove, which is always one of my favorite spots for all session types! There is a lot of visual variety in a small area and we were treated to an absolutely gorgeous early June morning! The sky was a perfect shade of blue with just the right amount of puffy clouds. I could stop photographing them looking at each other in nervous anticipation of their baby girl. They are so cute to photograph together and we had a great time exploring the surrounding area. Kristen was stunning in a simple navy blue dress and brought just a few personal items to photograph for when the baby arrives.
