Nautical Cake Smash | Manchester, CT

Ahoy! Our next first birthday cutie visited us at the end of the summer for a perfect theme – a nautical cake smash! This is one of my favorite themes and I haven’t used it in a while, so it was time for a little bit of a refresh! We used a fun sky backdrop from Roses & Ruffles and a lot of related props to incorporate into his photo session. Of course it wouldn’t be complete without an amazing cake to match by Betty’s Cake Creations! Logan was such a model and gave us so many adorable expressions throughout his session. His mom told me she loved how I was able to capture all of the faces he makes that are so much like his personality, and now she can have them in photographs from this time in his life forever! He loved the frosting and especially was happy to use the big wooden spoon (babies love it!) to smash the cake with. We had such a great time at his nautical cake smash, and I can’t wait to see him later this month for their on location fall family photo session too!
