Car Cake Smash | Newington, CT

I’m so happy to bring back this theme! A few years ago I introduced a similar car cake smash theme with an antique garage look and it became one of my favorite boy set ups! It was so nice to bring it back to celebrate Marco’s first birthday! His older brother, Matteo, visited me in the studio about 2 years ago for his construction themed cake smash and I couldn’t believe it was already time for little brother to turn 1! It’s always fun to regenerate a theme I’ve used before and I think the set came out great! Marco loved playing with the little wooden cars and blocks and we even cracked a few smiles with bubbles before it was cake time! While he wasn’t too keen about getting his hands messy, the spoon was a huge hit and he effectively smashed that cake from Betty’s Cake Creations! And boy did he LOVE the little fondant tires that Betty made for the top of the cake. Maybe he thought they were Oreos, I don’t know! But they kept him occupied for quite a while as he explored the rest of the cake options. After enough fun, we had a quick bath for cleanup before it was off to be changed! What a fun time we had at his car cake smash and I can’t wait to plan the next custom set up! Enjoy!
