Dance Photos | Newington, CT

We were so excited for these annual dance photos of two gorgeous sisters! Sometimes I come across clients who are so naturally beautiful it’s extremely difficult to choose which photos to keep from their session! Such was the case with Maryssa and Mariyah – two sisters who I’ve photographed previously. They came to visit me for their dance portraits before their big recital a few weekends ago and I wanted to make these extra special! Mariyah dances tap and hip hop so we had two outfits to pose with and big sister Maryssa looked stunning in her ballet poses. I was able to borrow a few tires to go with my graffiti backdrop from Lemondrop for the hip hop portion and I could print every one! At the end of the session we had a little bit of time left to try a few lighting techniques I’ve been wanting to test out and it’s always nice to have an older child to practice with – Maryssa was a great model for it! The result was incredible and I can’t wait to print it for my studio gallery! Thanks girls for such an amazing job with your dance photos!
