Baby Meerab’s Mommy first came to visit me in April. She was planning for her upcoming baby’s arrival this summer and wanted to see my studio, look at props and outfits and color options, and talk about this truly special photo session for their family. I love being able to plan these with families! Meerab means “flower of paradise” which was very fitting for her absolutely gorgeous fine art newborn photography session at my Newington, CT studio. Mom wanted to go with a mostly neutral color scheme, which is a great choice especially for darker skin tones. She looked gorgeous! The creative flair was adding a splash of deep red during photos with Mom as well as a special set up request with strawberries! Apparently, Mom doesn’t like strawberries all that much but during her pregnancy she couldn’t get enough of them! So I created something with the strawberries just for this reason and we loved how it came together! Meerab had so many beautiful photos we decided that an Heirloom album was best to display as many of them as possible. This is truly a beautiful piece to cherish in your home without taking up too large of a footprint. When it arrived with a new deep red velvet cover we were so excited! I will definitely be purchasing a sample for the studio for other parents to enjoy – it is just beautiful.
