First Birthday Milestone Photos | Glastonbury, CT

When I photograph weddings, it’s always an honor to eventually photograph their children! Such was the case with this little family, as I had photographed Mom & Dad a number of years ago. Fast forward to today, and they have two beautiful children! It was time for baby girl to turn 1, and Mom contacted me hoping to get some first birthday milestone photos done, and later fall family photos of everyone together. These are a great simpler option for birthdays, portraits, and just because! After discussing outfit and color options that Mom would bring for her, I could put together my set up ideas. Usually I like to use more neutral set ups for milestone sessions to focus on their personalities. Baby girl took some time to warm up, but apparently tickles with one of my stuff puppets was the way to her heart! At age 1 she is already walking around and on the move, so staying in one place was a funny challenge for both Mom & I! But the many smiles and expressions she gave us throughout was so heartwarming! It was a lot of fun going over her final gallery with her parents and choosing how they would like to cherish them. High quality prints, digital files, and a canvas are all going to look great in their home! And with my ala carte pricing format, YOU have the choice as to how to create your own package and come up with a combination of items that you will use and enjoy. Everyone is different, so why should pre-set packages be the same? I have a different order for almost every single clients, and it proves again and again that when we work together you will leave feeling like you got what you paid for and more!
