Blue Newborn Photoshoot | West Hartford, CT

I was so excited to meet this family! They had booked one of my Annual Review Plans – which is a great way to get multiple sessions done in 1 year – and also came for our VERY popular Santa Experience this past November. So finally it was time for their littlest to arrive, and I created an adorable blue newborn photoshoot set up in my Newington, CT studio for some great photos for him and his family! Blue is always a very popular color to incorporate for boys and we used warm tones and props to contrast as well. Brady did such a great job posing and slept the morning away in the warmth of my studio. Mom had a few special requests from photos she had see before from my portfolio and one of them was the “bucket” pose. It’s not always something a baby wants to do, so we always make sure to attempt each pose with the utmost safety and comfort in mind. If something doesn’t work, we move on to something else. Luckily he did a GREAT job and it clearly was a favorite image right away! Also a priority was making sure his older brother was involved for some sibling photos. Now at age 2, sometimes this can be a challenge, but with patience (and maybe some candy bribes), we safely posed them together for some adorable photos (that were very hard for Mom & Dad to choose from as they loved them all!). Their family photo was adorable as well and I can’t wait to show them their beautiful photos in print where they will have such a beautiful keepsake in addition to digital format.
