Newborn Sibling Photos | West Hartford, CT
Last year I met with Charlie for her first birthday milestone session photos and she was oh so cute with her big blue eyes! Some clients prefer my simpler milestone sessions so they can come back for yearly portraits every year – and I love seeing the grow up! This time it was cuteness x2 as 2 week old baby sister Maddie joined the family for their newborn sibling photos! Although we didn’t do a traditional newborn photoshoot with her, it’s still definitely possible to take some adorable photos wrapped in a prop or 2 during a session such as this. Now age 2 can bring a different type of challenge, especially when they are only used to seeing me once or twice per year. So Charlie was having a little bit of a tough morning. But you know what? This is what real life is like at age 2. And EVERY milestone is important to capture – it just takes a patient and willing photographer like me to do whatever it takes! After wrapping her baby sister and taking some photos of just her, Charlie was a little bit more comfortable taking some photos together. And that’s what Mom & Dad were hoping for! In the end, we have some really cute milestone newborn sibling photos for them to enjoy. And I can’t wait to see how much they’ve grown again next year! Here were some of their favorites.
