Newborn Portrait Photography | Manchester, CT
After a summer filled with pretty in pink newborn babies, it was SO refreshing for one of my clients to choose my favorite color – PURPLE – for their newborn portrait photography color scheme! I’ve been photographing this family now for a few years, including a first birthday cake smash for their oldest child, and family portraits last fall, so I was very honored for them to consider me for their newest addition to the family! Baby Grace was just perfect visiting me at my Newington, CT photography studio, and allowed me to pose her safely in a wide variety of positions. It is so important during newborn photography sessions to understand how the baby is feeling and what their needs are for the greatest success. Some like certain poses more than others or might like to be wrapped more often to feel secure as they did in the womb. Grace was content with a lot of what we did, but after a number of poses I do like to wrap babies to allow them to settle while we work on prop photographs. I am so happy that her family will now have a beautifully framed family photo for above the mantle, a custom wood block of images, and some professional prints to enjoy and display. Getting images off your phone/computer are so important to the value you receive from your session and I love that I am able to give so many choices to my clients during their ordering appointments!
