They say you never know where life takes you and the people that you will meet along the way. Such was the case in my connection with this little one’s Dad! We met initially a few years back when we were in the process of renovating our kitchen and getting a new refrigerator. Not needing or having space for our current one, we offered it up for free to someone who could use it. We met with this very nice man and got to talking a little bit too. Turns out he’s a dispatcher for our local Newington Police Department (new at the time) and we were happy to make the connection! Fast forward to 2020, and he personally reached out to me to find out if I would be willing to photograph his first child for her newborn photoshoot! I was so honored he remembered that I even was a photographer! And it was such a pleasure to work with him and his lovely wife to put together a beautiful gallery of pink and sage newborn photos! The little miss arrived at just over 2 weeks old. Due to the COVID-19 shut down, we had a huge influx of requests and photography studios were only allowed to reopen as of Phase 2 on June 17th! So I was so happy to get her in the schedule during this precious, fleeting time when they are able to pose in such beautiful ways! After figuring out her personality, I got her to sleep soundly for the rest of the morning! She gave so many adorable looks and quite a few smiles as we moved through posing, props, and eventually some parent and family photos at the end. I just love what they chose from my menu of choices – a beautiful 4-image wood cluster to display on the wall, some keepsake digital files, and even some cute gift ideas for relatives! They have so many to enjoy and here are just some of the many favorites chosen!
