It is always wonderful when past clients come back to me as their family grows, and such was the case with Corey & Alison, who I photographed for their wedding just a few years ago! It seems like just yesterday that we were at Mill Pond Park in Newington, CT photographing their beautiful fall wedding and portraits together afterwards. Now just a few years later, it was time for the next milestone. Having their first child and asking me to be involved in photographing this moment was amazing, so I knew these were going to be some special newborn photos! I was so happy to have them join us just before the Thanksgiving break while I was still available. They asked for a gray and navy blue color scheme, and at barely 6lbs he was such a little peanut! But being so little and just about 2 weeks old, he slept the morning away for us and allowed me to carefully and safely put him into many different adorable poses for his parents to enjoy. We even got a few smiles out of him too! I loved using one of my favorite fuzzy gray wool hats with the pom pom on top for his froggy pose and he looked so precious! I was so happy to be able to provide his parents with something so special to cherish. And they ended up deciding on one of my very popular Legacy Boxes, along with some of them digitally as well, to be able to display and enjoy in a more hybrid way. Expecting in 2020?
