Baby Girl Newborn Photography | Newington, CT
At the end of 2017 we welcomed baby girl Stella into my Newington, CT studio for her newborn photography session! Her parents booked what I call a “Snuggle Session”, which is a little bit shorter of a newborn session (traditional sessions are up to 3 hours so snuggle sessions are only about an hour to 90 minutes). This is still a great way to capture some adorable photos of your new baby in a shorter time frame. I like to focus all of my newborn sessions a little more on props and wrapped poses, which allows me to get more closeups, details, and variety (I LOVE back-lit profile photos, for example). Stella LOVED being wrapped and cozy and fell right to sleep. Mom & Dad were over the moon when I put her in my little bed prop with a teddy bear! She looked so adorable and barely gave a peep! Although we attempted some unwrapped poses, this baby girl was more comfortable feeling a little more secure – which can be a common thing! So, with the time we had left, I wrapped her a different way on the table for a few more poses. Mom loved the added touch of a little crown too! She was a such a good girl, and I loved having her! Mom & Dad were so happy with their finals results they upgraded to our NEW Baby Plan option – which is a great way to get an entire year of photos at the important milestones with a high product value and great price point spread out over the year! So she’ll be back for 6-month (sit up) photos and her 1st birthday custom cake smash with me too!
