Last month I had the amazing opportunity to learn under the direction of Trisha Jimenez, of the well known TG Photography studio based in Florida. A lot of my potential and current clients ask about newborn photography pricing, why it varies sometimes, and why it can be expensive. Of course there are MANY reasons the value of a high quality photography session can certainly be an investment (See my amazing headshots by Sasha Dale Photography – I invest as well!), but in the newborn world, continuing education is SO important! Techniques, safety, posing, and working with different situations (preemies, newborns with health concerns, awake babies, etc) are all things that we as professional photographers strive to improve to make YOUR images that much better and higher value! Trisha is an incredible teacher, and I enjoyed learning her unique style, best practices, and techniques for working with these precious bundles of joy. I learn every time I invest in further education with my newborn photography and I can’t wait to see my next baby in the studio (next week in fact so stay tuned!).
