Typically I recommend that expecting clients reach out to me in their 2nd trimester to book their due date (if not earlier if they are booking maternity photos as well!). This gives us plenty of time to plan and lock in time around your due date before baby arrives, because sometimes they arrive earlier than expected! But sometimes, life happens and you forget until baby is here! Please contact me anyway – if I can, I absolutely will try to get you into the schedule, even if your baby is a little bit older than the “traditional” newborn stage. So I was very happy to be able to help this little family who already had their special bundle of joy and was hoping that I had an opening for them! Not only that, but we decided on my very popular Annual Review Plan, which gives clients up to 3 sessions in one year to use on their baby’s special milestones! Purple & white floral newborn photos were on the menu for our first photoshoot, and this little miss was quite the snuggler, and did NOT like having her hands or fingers fooled with! This is pretty common with newborns, and sometimes we just have to let them be! We had so many variety in her photoshoot and just love how nice the purple and florals and neutrals all came together! Mom also requested one of my Harry Potter themed set ups, and although baby girl wasn’t into posing how I would usually, I’m always able to change things on the fly and still get a similar set up in for them. Big brother and Dad joined us at the end of the session for sibling and family photos and were so proud of their new family addition! During their Reveal appointment, we decided on our very popular Legacy Box with beautiful matted prints and some gorgeous canvases to enjoy at home (and as a gift!). I was so happy to help this new family experience what a professional photographer can give them and I can’t wait to see this little girl back for her sit up milestone over the summer!
