Rainbow Baby Newborn Photos | Lyme, CT

Last month we connected with a past co-worker for her son’s rainbow baby newborn photos here at the studio! It was so wonderful to see her again and I was honored she made the drive up from Lyme, CT to work with me! During our pre-consultation we talked about their “adventure themed” nursery, with focus on blue and gray colors, and tried to incorporate this into the color scheme for backdrops and hats. Dillon loved being snuggled in the first few prop photos and mom and dad especially loved his photos in his cute bonnet and snuggle sack. Dillon is also recognized by his parents as their “rainbow baby”, which is a special designation for babies born after a previous loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant loss). I create a special set up just for this with a backdrop from Roses & Ruffles, and I love how it came out! Mom also loved the photos of his little details – fingers, toes, and lips, which I’ve highlighted below. I hope you enjoy some of the photos from Dillon’s newborn photography session!
