Milestone Newborn Photography | Newington, CT

Planning for Rosalie’s newborn photos was very special for her family. Her mom told me when she booked that she is the first girl to be born on either side of the family in over 45 years! Everyone has had boys! They even have two older boys of their own. Which is why her milestone newborn photography session at my Newington, CT studio was so important to capture. This was also their first experience with a professional photographer, so I really want to make sure they could see the differences in working with someone to create not only beautiful photos, but prepare heirloom quality products to enjoy as well. They decided on a mauve color scheme – not too pink, not too purple – which I absolutely love! Mauve is such a great color for girls and it pairs so nicely with most decor. We were able to pose her in so many ways and use a lot of outfits and hats and headbands from my custom collection. She slept the morning away without a peep! Towards the end of her session, Mom asked if we could do something to signify her being a “rainbow baby”, or a baby born after a previous loss of a child. These always tug at my heart so I wanted to make sure to do something special. And wouldn’t you know? Rosalie even gave us a little smile too! Posing with her big brothers was so cute, they love her so much! I can tell she is going to be one special little girl and loved by so many in her family.
