Spring Floral Family Photos | Hartford, CT

In late June, after meeting for Zara’s boho cake smash, we scheduled a separate date with the Sharma Family for more formal spring floral family photos outdoors. This gave Zara a little break in between and we were able to plan to visit the stunning rose gardens in peak bloom at Elizabeth Park. A June heat wave made things nice a toasty for us! So meeting early in the morning was important, especially with formal attire. This family dressed absolutely perfectly in pink tones throughout. Posing them against the bolder pink roses in contrast with the sun rising behind them create an absolutely stunning portrait that will look amazing hanging in their home! We let Zara explore a little bit and she loved flashing her big smile for Daddy. The gazebo in the morning light create some unique portraits on the inside that I really enjoyed (you’ll see more below!). Zara’s Mom & Dad showed her the many types of roses as we walked along the garden plots. We sat in a shady area for a little while to get a break from the heat and even tried to let Zara stand a little bit while holding on to a bench.
