Photos With Santa Event | Newington, CT
Two weeks ago we welcomed a very important guest to the studio – Santa Claus! We have been planning this very special Photos With Santa event since August and everything finally came together for 16 lucky families on Saturday, November 14th 2015! The first step was building a custom set that you wouldn’t see anywhere else to make these photos even more unique! We also coordinated with Betty’s Cake Creations in Cromwell, CT to make some adorable Santa-themed cupcakes and cookies for families to take home after they were finished with their photos. After posting the event for booking in early October, we sold out all 16 sessions in about 1 week, with most booking the first 2 days! The day of the event went about as well as it ever could have! We had a group of helpers on hand to help make the process very smooth. Our main goal was to avoid long waiting after hearing so many horror stories of 4-6 hours waits at the mall! The kids also had 10 minute appointments with Santa, which gave them time to get used to the surroundings, sit for a story or two, and relax without feeling rushed through. Parents were also able to view and add on Christmas cards or other products on the spot, and I can proudly say that two weeks after the event nearly every client has placed and received their orders, most even before Thanksgiving! We had a LOT of interest, even from parents who still wanted to book Santa for this Christmas. Unfortuantely, he needs to be back at the North Pole getting those toys ready, but we have pre-booked Santa for 2016 on Saturday, November 12th for a full day!
