Country Club Wedding at The Farms | Wallingford, CT

In early November, we celebrated the wedding and marriage of Maggie & Sead at The Farms country club in Wallingford, CT. We first met over the summer to plan their wedding and have an engagement session to get to know each other. I loved that their wedding was blending traditions and family from Polish and Bosnian cultures and they had so many people excited to celebrate with them! We started the day at the bride’s mom’s home where the groom was brought to the bride for a special ceremony. Maggie was just shocked and overwhelmed when she saw Sead, and as you’ll see in their photos below, it was such an emotional and special moment for everyone there. We had time to photograph bridal portraits, portraits with mom, some with Sead, and some details before heading to The Farms where the wedding ceremony and reception were to take place. Here, we met with the rest of the family and bridal party for formal wedding portraits on one of the beautiful areas of the golf course before driving off to the 8th tee for photos with just the bride and groom. It’s always so much more relaxing for couples to have most of, if not all, of their photos done before the ceremony. This takes a lot of pressure off and they were able to enjoy their cocktail hour and mingle with family and friends before the reception. Since this was a November wedding, this timeline also allowed us daylight hours to photograph before the sun set. Their reception was a lot of fun with a lot of fun people! Everywhere you looked there was someone smiling and dancing. We even snuck in a few night portraits (my personal favorite!).
